Lot Description
An early 20th century gem-set pendant, circa 1910. Of scroll design, the circular-shape peridot and pink tourmaline cluster to the openwork split seed pearl surmount suspending three vari-cut pink tourmaline and peridot to the later belcher link chain. Pendant stamped 15. Chain unmarked. Length of pendant 3.9cms. Total weight 6.85gms.

Condition Report
The pendant is in overall good condition. The stones are well matched in colour. The tourmalines have a strong hue with even colour saturation. A chips can be seen to one. Inclusions are visible under magnification. Minor chips can be seen to the girdle of the circular-shape peridots. Nibbles are present to the facet edges. The split pearls are well matched. Some of the claws are worn and will need attention. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, in keeping with age.
