Lot Description

A late 19th century diamond single-stone ring, circa 1890. The old European-cut diamond collet within a square-shape surround to the fancy shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.80ct, H-I colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Stamped 18ct Plat. Weight 5gms.

The ring is in overall fair condition. There are scratches and areas of wear to the ring on keeping with the age of the piece. The diamond is nice and bright, the outer collet setting is a little uneven. The back of the head is dirty. Ring size L1/2.
