Condition Report
The bangle is in overall good condition. This is a put together piece. The principal setting does not match the hinged bangle. Indents can be seen to the bangle where an original panel may have been. Both components are early/mid 20th century.
The diamonds are bright and lively. Many are included. Some quite heavily. Large fractures are present. Chips and nibbles can be seen to facets and girdle edges. One of the clearer diamonds has a yellow hue.
All the rubies display the same or similar colour. They have a good red to purplish red hue. Most have an even colour saturation. Some stones show areas of deeper/patchy colour concentration. Inclusions are present to most. These included needle like inclusions (some dark), feathers, dark crystal inclusions. The central ruby has a long fine fracture running very near to the surface. A pit mark can be seen to the surface of one of the outer rubies. This can be seen within the unaided eye.
All the settings seem secure. However, some have worn thin and will need attention. Light bruising and dents can be seen to the split bangle edges. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear.
