Lot Description

An Edwardian 18ct gold sapphire and diamond five-stone ring. The graduated oval-shape sapphires with old European-cut diamonds spacers to the scrolling shoulders and tapered band. Hallmarks for Chester, 1901. Weight 4.20gms.

Overall condition good, with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Some markings to inside band, indicates previous resizing.  Sapphires are well matched , mid blue in colour, showing typical inclusions, with small nibble to centre stone facet edge.  Diamonds are fairly well matched, showing slightly different cut and colour. Ring Size N.
