A late Victorian diamond locket, circa 1870. Of oval outline, the old European-cut diamonds to the raised central line and plain surmount. Unmarked with regard to metal purity. Length 6.1cms. Weight 27.10gms. With fitted case.

Overall condition fair to good, with minor surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear and age of piece. The diamonds appear bright and lively and well matched with minor surface abrasion. Some light tarnish markings to reverse.
