Lot Description

An Arts and Crafts opal and freshwater cultured pearl pendent, circa 1910. The oval opal cabochon within an openwork foliate surround suspending a freshwater cultured pearl drop. AF. Length 43cms. Weight 8.3gms.

The pendant is in overall good condition. Tarnish, scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear. Glue residue can be seen to the opal. The freshwater pearl is starined with dark marks. The chain is broken , however this can be repaired.


Maker believed to be Lorenzo Headley, a member of the Birmingham Arts and Crafts association.
