Lot Description
A late Victorian pearl and diamond bow brooch, circa 1880. The pearl measuring 8mm within an old-cut diamond surround to the old-cut diamond bow surmount. Pearl untested. Estimated total diamond weight 4.20cts, colour G-J, clarity SI2-P2. Length 4cms. Weight 10.7gms. With fitted case.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good condition. The pearl is untested. There is a crack to the surface of the nacre. It has a cream to grey body colour with silvery pink hue. All settings will need attention to check the security of the stones. The diamonds are bright and lively. Several are included, chipped or fractured. The durability may be impaired to two diamonds. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, in keeping with age.
