A late 19th century split seed pearl and enamel brooch, circa 1870. Designed as a stylised knot with split seed pearl and enamel detail suspending an articulated tassle. Unmarked with regard to metal purity. Length 6.8cms. Weight 23.86gms.

Overall condition fairly good, with minor surface wear in keeping with general wear and age of piece. The split seed pearls are fairly well matched, with minor chips to the enamel. Tarnish marking to front and reverse, with more significant areas to reverse.
