ROLEX - a 9ct gold manual wind gentleman's Oyster wrist watch, the cream dial having black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, all surrounded by an outer minute track, the hexagonal shaped case, import hallmarked Glasgow circa 1937, numbered 40737 2136, having presentation inscription to rear, fitted to an associated black strap with plated pin buckle, signed fifteen jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement and overcoil hairspring. Case width 32mm.

Rolex wristwatch, movement currently functioning, dial appears to be in fair condition, there is pinkish discolouration to the dial and subsidiary dial from possible water damage, there are some scratches to the glass, the case has overall scratches and areas of discolouration due to the age of the piece. Personal engraving to reverse reads 'E F Lycett in memory of his Great Grandmother Aug 1940'. The screw crown has broken and dies not close secure. The strap is worn overall with greening to the clasp.
