ROLEX - an 18k gold automatic lady’s Oyster Perpetual Datejust watch head fitted to a bi-metal bracelet circa late 1950’s/early 1960’s, the unoriginal silvered sunburst effect dial with hourly applied gilt batons, bordered by a minute track, date aperture positioned to three o'clock, personal engraving to the rear, fluted bezel, tonneau shaped case, fitted to a bi-metal Oyster bracelet with folding clasp, reference number 6517, serial number 627860, movement calibre 1130, movement number 44184. Case width 26mm. The movement and case appear to be a marriage, glass appears a later replacement.

Rolex bracelet watch, automatic movement is currently functioning, dial shows some small marks, hands have some visible marks, glass shows light scratching, case has marks and scratches as a result of general wear, right hand side of the case has a dent below the crown and some tiny dints above the crown, back of the case has an engraved monongram, bracelet has marks and scratches, bracelet also shows some distortion and light denting, bracelet shows signs of stretching, clasp has marks and scracthes. Bracelet measures 15.5cm including case.
Due to the opening of the case back we recommend that this watch be resealed by an authorised technician before use near water.
