A carved green jade figure modelled as an oriental female holding aloft a hand fan. Raised upon a shaped pierced and carved wooden base. 6" (15cm) height. Together with another similar example modelled as an oriental female, her arm folded across her chest, originally holding a fan (this is now lacking). Raised upon a shaped pierced and carved wooden base. 5.75" (14.5cm) height

Larger figure appears generally good, possible internal flaw, damage to right hand. small chip on rear frilled edge of dress. Other figure has damaged fan to hand. The carved tassel to belt if missing tip. Deep scratch to back of figure. Wooden base broken with piece missing. Both glued on bases
