A 19th century papier-mache box and cover. The sloping hinged cover (now lacking hinges) lifting to reveal a velvet lined interior fitted with four opaque, octagonal glass bottles and stoppers, each decorated with gilded designs. 4.75" (12cm) wide x 5.25" (13cm) high

There is damage around the hinge area with small pieces missing. Chips around base, gilding worn and scratched. Interior in poor condition, one bottle smashed and re-glued, one bottle has chip on base
