Lot Description
A late 19th century German porcelain figure modelled as a girl attending birds. The whole upon a naturalistic base detailed with gilded scrolls. Blue cross swords mark to base.
Please note: upon further inspection, this figure dates from the transition at the end of the Marcolini period (1774-1814), denoted by the use of the asterisk and the number 1 below the crossed swords, the latter solely in use 1814-24.

Girl is missing tips of both thumbs. Her jacket has attached ribbons, these have broken off. The bird is sat near some grapes, the leaves have broken and repaired, the grapes have been repainted
