A late 19th century porcelain plaque. The white glazed ground with hand painted decoration depicting a mother and child, entitled 'Stepping Stones'. Signed Edith Maplestone, see paper label verso. The whole within a velvet finished circular frame. 8.75" (22cm) diameter

The draylon covered frame has several holes in it. The plaque itself appears to be free from damage but without removing it from the frame could not be guaranteed. The painted surface is very dirty with a few added household paint splash marks
