Lot Description

An early 20th century peridot and pearl brooch. Of foliate design, the rectangular-shape peridot to the openwork split seed pearl surround, may be worn as a pendant. AF. Stamped 15ct. Length 3.3cms. Weight 6.33gms.

The brooch is in overall fair condition. The suspended drop is missing and would need to be replaced. One of the split seed pearls has damage to the nacre visible with magnification, some of the split seed pearls are a little grey. There is slight abrasion to the facet edges of the peridot visible with magnification. There is some lead solder repair to the back pendant loop. There are slight scratches to the piece in keeping with general wear. The back pin and catch is secure.
