A sapphire and diamond ring. The oval-shape sapphire within old European-cut diamond trefoil clusters to the pierced gallery and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct, colour I-J, clarity SI1-P1. Stamped 18. Weight 5.4gms.

Condition Report

The overall condition is good to fair. The sapphire is of a deep intense blue with moderate saturation of colour, some patchiness towards the centre. There are some scratches to the surface and nibbles to the facet edges. The diamonds are bright. There are surface scratches to the mount in keeping with general wear. The shank may have been re sized or repaired as there is some associated pitting. Ring size Q.
