An early 20th century opal and split seed pearl pendant. Of foliate design, the oval opal cabochon within an openwork split pearl surmount to the oval opal cabochon drop suspended from a fine belcher-link chain, may be worn as a brooch. Stamped 9ct. Length of pendant 4.6cms. Length of chain 53cms. Weight 5.2gms.

Condition Report
The pendant is in overall good condition. The opals have a good play of colour, they are in good condition. The split seed pearls are fairly well matched, there are imperfections to the nacre of some, the settings may need to be secured. There are slight scratches to the pendant in keeping with the age of the piece. The 9ct stamp is a little worn, The chain is in good condition, the end jump ring appears to have been replaced.
