A shell cameo brooch. The oval-shape shell panel carved to depict a man and woman with a lyre within a rope-twist and blue enamel Greek key border. Unhallmarked. Length 5.5cms. Weight 29.3gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good with scratches and dents to both the back and front in keeping with general wear. There are a few parts of enamel missing, together with tarnish and discolouration to the enamel and rope twist border. There has been some repair work to the the rope twist detail. The cameo is in fair condition with scratches to the surface. The pin is slightly loose.
