Lot Description
Two 9ct gold gem-set brooches. To include a red paste bar brooch of foliate design and a sapphire and seed pearl crescent and flower brooch. Unhallmarked, tests as 9ct gold. Total weight 6.9gms.

Condition Report
The brooches are in overall fair condition. The crescent and flower brooch appears to have been put together, originally them being two separate pieces. The split seed pearls vary in shade some more grey others more peach. There is discolouration to the back of the central flower, the back pin is metal. There is abrasion to the facet edges of the red paste visible with the unaided eye, there are scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear, the back pin is a little loose.
