Lot Description
An early 20th century peridot, amethyst and split seed pearl brooch. Of openwork design, the circular-shape peridot and amethyst circle to the split seed pearl scalloped surround. Stamped 15. Length 2.5cms.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall fair condition. There is abrasion to the peridot easily visible with the unaided eye, one of the amethyst is quite seriously chipped, again there is abrasion to the facet edged of the amethysts. The split seed pearls are fairly well matched, some appear appear slightly more peach in tone. There are slight scratches to the back outer surround, the hinge has been reattached at a later date, lead solder is visible.
