The brooch is in overall good to fair condition. The diamonds are bright and lively. Eight small diamonds are missing. All the settings will need attention to check the security of the stones. The principal diamond has large dark inclusions visible with the unaided eye, surface reaching. A small crack can be seen to the outer edge of the frame. This has been repaired with soft solder. Soft solder can also be seen to the back of the brooch. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, in keeping with age. The brooch pin has minor bends.
