Lot Description
A Victorian 15ct gold sapphire and split seed pearl cluster brooch. The circular-shape sapphire and split seed pearl cluster to the raised oval surmount and scroll detailed surround. AF. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1890. Length 3.2cms. Weight 9.12gms.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good/fair condition. The sapphire is in good condition and the split seed pearls are well matched. There is some damaged to the outer scroll patterning, where a small section is missing. There are slight scratches and areas of discolouration to the gold in keeping with the age of the piece. The back photo frame has possibly been replaced as the gold varies in shade. The back hallmark is quite seriously rubbed and just legible.
