Lot Description
A late 19th century, diamond split seed pearl and enamel brooch. Of lozenge-shape outline, the old European-cut and rose-cut diamond cluster within a split seed pearl surround to the blue enamelled surmount. Estimated central diamond weight 0.33ct. Unhallmarked . Length 4.2cms. Weight 25.56gms.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good/fair condition. There is discolouration to the back of the brooch that would need attention. The diamonds are all fairly bright, some of the claws may need to be secured, the pearls are in good condition and well matched. There are scratches and slight damage to some of the blue enamel detail. The back pin and catch is secure. The catch has possibly been replaced.
