A Continental diamond foliate brooch, circa 1920. The rose-cut diamond flower with central old-cut diamond to the scrolling bar with old-cut diamond terminals. One diamond deficient. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct, colour H-I, clarity SI2-P1. Unhallmarked. Length 4.4cms. Weight 6.9cms.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good condition. One of the rose-cut diamonds is missing. The diamonds are bright and lively. The settings may need attention, general maintenance. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen general wear. Soft solder can be seen. The soft solder to the flower stem has become detached from the bar brooch. The brooch pin has been replaced at a later date.
