Lot Description

An early 20th century 18ct gold ruby and diamond ring. The graduated circular-shape rubies with single-cut diamond double spacers to the scrolling gallery and plain band. One ruby replaced with a synthetic colour change sapphire. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1917. Weight 4.2gms.

The ring is in overall fair condition. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with general wear. One of the rubies has been replaced with a synthetic, there is abrasion to the facet edges of all rubies visible with magnification. There are chips to several rubies visible with magnification. The inner hallmark is clear. Ring size M.
