Lot Description
A garnet pendant. Designed as a vari-shape garnet pendant, each within a foil backed claw setting, suspended from a similarly-set garnet surmount and belcher link chain. Pendant unhallmarked. Chain stamped 9c. Length of pendant 5cms. Length of chain 44.5cms. Total weight 9.90gms.

Condition Report
The pendant is in overall good condition. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the back closed back settings in keeping with overall wear. The garnets slightly vary in shade some with easily visible inclusions. Components of the pendant appear to old, additional more modern pieces being added at a later date. The chain appears to be early 20th century, there is damage and wear to some of the links. The barrel clasp has been acid tested.
