Lot Description

An 18ct gold ruby and diamond three-stone ring. The cushion-shape ruby within a four-claw setting flanked by brilliant-cut diamonds to the plain band. Dimensions of ruby 7.7 by 7.3 by 5.5mm. Diamond weights 0.28ct and 0.25ct, colour F-G, clarity VS1-VS2. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 5.8gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. The ruby is a medium-dark red colour with typical inclusions that somewhat affect the passage of light through the stone. There are minor nicks to the girdle and facet edges. The diamonds are bright and well matched. Ring size N.
