Lot Description
A ruby, diamond and spinel necklace. The oval-shape ruby collet to the brilliant-cut diamond foliate surmount and double row red spinel bead neck chain. Ruby glass filled. Estimated ruby weight 20.60cts. Length of chain 41cms.

Condition Report
The overall condition is good to fair. There are some surface scratches to the mount. The ruby is pinky red in hue, angular zoning can be seen. It appears cloudy and there is evidence of glass filling. The surface is slightly crazed. The diamonds are bright and well matched. The spinel beads vary in colour from light pink to dark red. There is slight abrasion to some.
