Lot Description
A pearl and diamond pendant. Of scroll design, the pearl to the openwork vari-cut diamond surmount suspending a further pearl. Accompanied by a Report from the Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating both pearls to be Natural pearls (saltwater). Report No 04201 dated 7th June 2011. Estimated total diamond weight 1.50cts. Length 4.3cms.

Condition Report
The pendant is in overall good condition. The diamonds are lovely and bright and both pearls are in good condition. Both pearls slightly vary in colour, there are some blemishes to the outer surround of the central pearl and slight imperfections generally to the nacre. There are slight scratches to the setting and areas of discolouration to the reverse. The back pin and catch is secure. We believe components of the pendant to be early 20th century, however the pearls have been replaced, the back pin and catch has been replaced and sections of the piece have been altered.
