A late 19th century hardstone locket. Of shield-shape outline, the bloodstone and chalcdony panels to the plain surmount. Unhallmarked. Length 4.1cms. Weight 14.44gms.

The locket is in overall fair condition. There are scratches and dents to the outer surround, there are some small chips to the edging of the chalcedony and bloodstone. There are some scratches to the inner rims of the photo panels. The locket opens and closes securely.
