The earrings are in overall good to fair condition with light scratches and scuffs in keeping with general wear. The rubies are abraded. Nibbles can be seen to the facet edges. A scratch can be seen to the table facet of one ruby. The diamonds are bright and lively. One diamond is missing.  The earrings are for non pierced ears. However, the earrings have been adapted from another piece of jewellery and the hinged clips have been added at a later date. The solder mark and remains of the removed pin from the original fitting will need to be filed down.

The clip fittings are so placed that the basket appears on it side when worn in the ear.
