An early 20th century garnet and split seed pearl cluster brooch. The oval-shape garnet within an openwork split seed pearl surround. Stamped 9ct. Length 3cms.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good condition. There is a chip to the girdle of the garnet visible with magnification. There are scattered inclusions throughout the stone that are visible without magnification. There are blisters to many of the split seed pearls, they are fairly well matched. There are slight scratches and areas of discolouration to the gold. The back pin and catch is secure.
