Porringer displays general wear, tarnishing and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.  Remnants of polish in some areas.  Some minor nicks and small dints to the main body.  The base has been bossed-out and there is some evidence of soldering, especially on one side, indicating possible repairs.  Hallmarks to the underside of the base are scattered and are all clear and legible.  The maker's mark of R.D below a crown appears in Jackson on page 130.
