A 1960's silver caster of navette form with four convex sides with pierced palmette decoration, the body raised above a spread square base with screw out plug to the underside. Hallmarked Reid & Sons Ltd Sheffield 1964. Height measuring  5 1/2 inches (14 cm), weight 4.7 ozt (148 grams).
