Lot Description

Early twentieth century silver mounted cut glass decanter of bulbous form, cylindrical mounted collar with flat top hinged lid. Hallmarked John Grinsell & Sons Birmingham 1917. Height measuring 6 3/4 inches (17 cm).

The decanter displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor nibbles and chips visible to the glass. A small hole has developed to the inner top seam of the handle. The hallmarks partly rubbed but legible.
