Lot Description

A modern silver pin dish embossed with a garden scene of seated ladies with a gentleman playing the lute, hallmarked Sheffield 1971. Together with a 1930's oval silver nut dish hallmarked Birmingham 1931, a late Victorian silver mount, missing liner, hallmarked Birmingham 1900 and a Victorian silver sifter spoon, hallmarked Chester 1890. Gross combined weight 4.5 ozt (142 grams). (4).

Overall the four items display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Remnants of old polish visible. The shape of the silver mount missing the glass liner has become a little distorted. The hallmarks to the sifter spoon are quite distorted, remaining hallmarks are clear and legible.
