A modern silver caster of vase form with detachable pierced lid and raised above a circular stepped base. Hallmarked Lanson Ltd Birmingham 1957. Height measuring 7 inches (18 cm), weight 3.6 ozt (114 grams).

The caster displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Minor dints visible to the body. Small shallow dent visible to the lid. The finial has taken a knock, positioned to one side with compresion visible to the surrounding area. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
