Lot Description
Edwardian silver mounted part dressing table set comprising hand mirror, hand brush and clothes brush, each embossed with scrolling foliage and flowers, hallmarked Synyer & Beddoes Birmingham 1903, 1907 and 1910; together with another three piece silver mounted part dressing table set with engine turned decoration, a single hand brush and a pair of clothes brushes with silver plated mounts. Condition Report
All pieces in the lot display wear, tarnishing and surface marks and scratches. The Edwardian three piece set has several small holes in the embossed decoration and various dints. The silver mount on the clothes brush is very loose. Hallmarks are legible. The other three piece set displays numerous nicks and small dints in the metal and the glass plate is loose on the hand mirror. The hallmarks are rubbed and partly distorted but just about legible. The mount on the single hand brush is very worn, there are numerous marks, dints and also some large cracks in the metal. Hallmark is legible. The silver plated mounts on the pair of brushes display various small nicks and dints, especially to the corner on one of them.
