A 1920’s silver mounted cigarette box of rectangular form, engine turned decoration to the hinged lid with vacant cartouche and opening to reveal a wooden interior. Hallmarked Deakin & Francis Ltd Birmingham 1927. Measuring 5 inches (12.7 cm) by 3 5/8 inches (9.2 cm).

Condition Report
The cigarette box displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The engine turned decoration to the lid is heavily worn, completely rubbed to the centre. The lid and body do not sit flush. Numerous dints visible. The base and wooden interior display some heavy wear and tear. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
