A silver plate and glass claret jug, the main glass body of tapering form and mounted with a floral and foliate engraved silver plated collar with dome shape hinged cover and spout modelled as the head of Bacchus, also with silver plated scrolled handle embossed with fruiting vine. Maximum height including finial measures 12 inches (30.5cm).

Condition Report
The jug displays general wear and surface marks and scratches. The glass has minor rim and edge chips and the underside is quite scuffed. The silver plated mount is a little tarnished. The hinge is in good working order, although perhaps a little loose.
