Lot Description
A Walker & Hall silver plated sugar basin and scoop, with rod handle, designed by Dr. Christopher Dresser, stamped mark and number 1995A. Maximum height of basin measures 4 3/4 inches (12cm), maximum length measures 6 1/4 inches (16cm).

Condition Report
Both basin and scoop display general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Some of these scratches are deeper and more evident. There are various nicks and pin prick marks in the metal all over and especially around the rims, where the plating has come away in places. There is a small dint to one side of the basin. There are various scuffs and contact marks to the reverse of the scoop. Maker's mark and number is clear and legible.
