The overall condition of the case appears to be good with general light wear and surface marks and scratches. There are some minor nicks in the metal in places and a couple of minor dints, especially to the corners. The hinge and clasp are in good working order. There are some contacts marks to the interior rims. There are also some pin marks from where the monogram has been applied to the front. The struck marks are clear and legible. There is some wear and deterioration to the wood box and silk lining but it is generally still okay.
