A Victorian silver salt of circular form, beaded rim and raised above three shell mounted hoof feet, initialled. Hallmarked Martin, Hall & Co (Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall) London 1875, numbered 8939. Maximum diameter measuring 2 1/4 inches (5.5 cm), weight 1.5 ozt (48 grams).
