Lot Description
Edwardian reproduction silver gilt anointing spoon, the bowl engraved with scrolling foliate motifs and the tapering stem decorated with geometric, scrolling and other decorative motifs. Hallmarked Elkington & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1901. Length measures 7 inches (17.5cm), weight 1.51 ozt (46.9 grams).

Condition Report
The spoon displays general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age. The gilding has worn. There are some small edge/rim nicks and on the reverse of the stem there appears to be an area along the edge that has previously been filed. This area measures approximately 1.5cm. Hallmarks and maker's marks are clear and legible.
