Eleven assorted silver thimbles with varying decoration, dates and maker's marks, seven hallmarked and four stamped 'sterling silver'; together with a white metal example and a further boxed metal thimble. Gross combined silver weight 2.69 ozt (83.6 grams). (13).

Condition Report
Each thimble displays general wear, tarnishing and surface marks and scratches. There are also various nicks in the metal. Three of the thimbles have some holes in the metal and several of them have slightly misshapen rims. Some of the hallmarks are partly distorted or rubbed but most are still legible.
