Lot Description

Victorian glass hip flask with detachable cup and screw lid. Hallmarked Richards & Brown (Edward Charles Brown) London 1878. Height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm).

The hip flask displays general scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The interior of the detachable cup has previously been gilded. No visible engravings. Dents visible to the lid and a split to the surface of the silver to the edge of the domed lid. The hallmarks to the lid and cup are partly rubbed but clearly legible.
