George III small silver sauce boat with gadrooned rim, high arch scrolling handle, engraved initials and raised above shell mounted hoof feet. Hallmarked David Hennell I & Robert Hennell I London 1765. Height including handle measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm), weight 3.9 ozt (122 grams).

The sauce boat displays scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Repairs visible to the joins of the feet and surrounding area, with creases also visible to the interior. Minor dints and bumps. The hallmarks positioned to the underside are noticeably rubbed but legible.
