Box displays general wear, tarnishing and general surface marks and scratches.  Some loss of detail to the gadrooned rim and also to the engraved monogram.  A few minor nicks and dints, especially to the protruding corners.  Hinged cover in good working order.  Full hallmarks to interior base and part hallmarks to flange on lid, slightly rubbed but all still legible.  Maker's mark a little distorted.
