The box displays general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age.  It is also quite tarnished. Some of the scratches are deeper and more visible.  There is a small dint to the lid and a couple of other small dints around the sides.  The hinged lid is in working order.  At present the box is full of hair.  Hallmarks are rubbed but still legible and there are part hallmarks to the lid.
