Condition Report
The shell displays general wear and surface marks and scratches and there are several large cracks and some smaller hairline ones. The silver mount also displays numerous surface marks and scratches and some minor nicks/dints. There is some wear to the stippled decoration. The hinge is in good working order although a little loose. Struck only with thistle mark and sovereign's head to the interior lid, both marks slightly rubbed but still legible.
